Jon is an award-winning filmmaker with over 25 years experience directing, producing and editing films for multiple platforms that include streaming networks (Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and TUBI), documentary, broadcast TV, branded content and nonprofit. Recently, Jon directed and edited the feature documentary, Class of COVID- 19. Class of COVID-19 has its worldwide release on Amazon Prime Video in October of 2023. The film won the 2022 International Black FIlm Festival- Nashville Best Long Documentary, Kansas City Film Fest International Audience Choice Award and the Silver Remi Award at WorldFest- Houston International Film Festival. The documentary also screened at the Portland Film Festival and the Twin Cities FIlm Festival.

Jon has worked with a wide range of clients that includes Yahoo!, People TV, NBC Universal, Nickelodeon, Travelocity, Collective Eye Films, MAK Pictures, Getty Film, Oracle, Organic, WAG Entertainment, 60 Minutes, Harvest Creative, Hint and Beverly Boy Productions. He's worked with TV hosts Bill Maher, Charlie Rose, Ree Drummond, and Richard Bangs. 

In 2019, Jon directed, produced and edited the award-winning feature documentary film, Uncommon Allies. Uncommon Allies is currently on Amazon Prime, Apple, TV, Roku TV and VUDU. In 2016, Jon was a producer on the feature documentary film, Beyond Laughter and Tears directed by Oscar award-winner Doug Blush.   

While working at Yahoo!, Jon played a hands-on, key role in establishing Yahoo! as a forerunner in original online video productions.  This was Yahoo’s first step into original TV style series (webisodes) productions.  He directed, edited and produced 5 original webisode series while at Yahoo! focusing on topics such as travel, lifestyle, subcultures, music, news, and politics.  Jon's last project at Yahoo! was creating a video profile of the President of the United States in the White House Roosevelt Room. It was the first time in history a sitting president conducted an interview solely for the internet.  This project was a tremendous success and received international attention and millions of video streams.

In 1998, Jon was a video producer for the world’s first e-commerce website with broadcast film footage.  The company was acquired by Getty Film in 2000.
